Here It Goes Again

Gosh! Someone hasn't been updating for quite sometimes... Things are still all over the place and I still feel awkward at work, but I'm trying the best that I could. Blend in, make it like I've been there forever. I hate the students. They are a bunch of stinky foreigner with funny accents and built in cockiness. They made us people who teach them feel as if they are our employer, which is not true because they don't pay our salaries. But what the hell, I don't plan to stay there forever. In fact, I am currently looking for a new job=)

And I finally have a social life on weekdays. So it is no longer only weekend in the city now. I get off work everday at 3.30pm, wander around KLCC for a while before having early dinner or just simply a cup of coffee with my friends. Nizam works at the Twin Tower so I've seen him a lot. Ben is here too and he has been bitchin' non stop about his first job, the way that I did back in 2007. I feel for you bro! And then there's Shikin who seems like her purpose of existence is to annoy me at any given chance. But I love her=)

Wafi is sooo-sad about leaving

So I am finally here... Not exactly like the way I always pictured it to be, but I am here dammit! I am finally reunited with my friends (we are all like five minutes train-rides away from one another), I have this little bedroom all to myself complete with tacky Mickey Mouse stickers that the previous tenant pasted all over the bathroom wall. I come back from work everyday greeted by a bunch of school kids who gamble outside my front door... and I wake up at 6.30am every single day now, which is like the hardest part of it all=(

Well, well...

It is definitely not easy. Whenever things turn sour, whenever I have to stand inside the LRT, I have Fergie's Glamourous playing on my mp3 player... and I started to spell. G.L.A.M~O.R.O.U.S yeah!

I'm Still Here!

Because everybody need to have their own shot of the Twin-tower!

2 weeks without updates. It’s either no one cares or all of you must really hate me by now. I think the world knows that things had been such a crazy whirlwind adventure for me for the past few weeks; final day in Nilai, one week of nothing at home and one hectic first week in the city. Things haven’t really gone my way, in several different occasions, I was seriously almost gave up and I got really stressed out that I started to rethink the whole idea of changing workplace and moving to KL. I have to tell you people, it’s not easy…

So here I am. Back at home, at my parent’s. I haven’t fixed my PC, so I am using my sis’s laptop. I wanted to write so bad but I just didn’t have the time. I work from 10am- 3pm every day, but I don’t my own personal PC at work and when I’m at home, there’s no internet connection=( Things are all ten times harder when you are just starting to get to know new bunch of people and at the same time try to get used to being in a new place. I lost count of how many times I got on the wrong trains and buses. I checked the mirror every ten minutes when I’m at work. Just in case if I have booger dangling from the inside of my nostrils or my lips are flaky. Ha-hah!

I hope it won’t take me too long to get used to the changes that are taking place in my life right now. Change is good. It makes our lives less ordinary and everything seems more exciting.

On the fashion front, I haven’t been paying that much of attention=( But one thing for sure is, checkered shirts have officially gone out of my list of cool things. You know a trend is over when you go to the mall and find five people on one side of an escalator wearing the same thing. That and school kids, once you saw something on a schools kid, it is officially O.V.E.R.

So my new thing right now is short sleeves for work. I’ve always love short sleeves because it’s airy and it has the relaxed flair to it without having to try too hard like those people in slim-cut stripped shirts. No offence, but you know I’m a fash-rebel right? So, I will definitely be wearing a lot of short sleeves to work for weeks to come.

In J.Crew neon tee, Vincci geek-chic glasses, Bata International bag, Northern Rock jeans and dandy shoes

Haven’t been shopping that much lately=( I bought a black scarf and a pair of pink argyle socks from Zara last week and a canvas bag from Topshop. I’m kinda broke. I have to pay for a lot of things like house deposit, daily train tickets to and fro work and twice the amount that I normally spend for ciggies because I smoke more when I’m under a lot of pressure=(

But what the hell! I know the first couple of weeks (or months!) will be slightly difficult. It will be easier from then on, right?

Spring cleaning!
I forgot to snap the 'after' photo.

As for entertainment, I want to watch ‘Australia’ but I’m not too sure if it’s still in theater. I have been listening to Coldplay’s Prospekt’s March EP everyday to work. I love ‘Postcards from Faraway’. It’s a 48 seconds of piano instrumental by Mr. Chris Martin. Each note feels like a gentle tap to my soul, like whispers of the angels, I can almost see my life moving in slow motion with the song on the background. Gosh, I love it! Please search for it on Youtube or something and take a listen.

They gave me this on my last day at work. But they forgot to hand me my bonus.

I don’t know when will be the next ones. I’ll snap more pictures because I haven’t been doing that lately=( So all I have for now are just some ‘leftovers’ from 2008.

But it’s fine… It’s 2009… New adventure.

Students after the final class. They have nothing but respect, which I love

Ooh! Did I mention that I fell in love?
