Lost Photos

Wearing a 10-dollar striped tee, bag from Seed and Casio watch

Wearing black tee from Gap, black skinnies from Topman, Reebok Sir Jam and Reebok backpack

Wearing tee from Cotton On, skinny jeans from Topman, my Dad's checked shirt

Wearing wide-neck tee and jeans from Topman, cardigan from Tommy Hilfiger and rings from F21

Random photos from last months that have passed the due date for publication. Ha-ha!

I wish I have more time to plan my outfit everytime I step out of the house. Lately, I just couldn't find enough time to do so. I've been grabbing stuff from inside and under my closet without too much effort.

I think that is quite obvious from the photos. Some outfits work and some just don't.

These days I'm not so much into necklace and bracelet. I love rings. Lots and lots of them.

Stacked and oversized.

Their Bliss

Image from HERE

Spent the long weekend in my hometown. I used to go back every other week. But these days, my parents only get to see me once a month. I love spending time at home with them. I just don't like the long journey getting there. All these weird people in the commuter train sometimes really make me nervous.

I missed my friend's sister's wedding on Saturday. I think I'm doing him a favor by not turning up because if I did, he had to leave the ceremony and fetch me at the station. Which is ridiculous because he was supposed to be there the whole time. It's his sister's wedding for godsake!

But honestly, I'm not a huge fan of wedding. Not because I'm bitter and my parents are divorced (they've been married for 40 years now), but it's just really not my thing. I regret the fact that I missed my friend Hanis' wedding last year tho'. But this has nothing to do with that. At that time I had just moved to KL, started a new job at the crappy language centre and was a huge ball of mess emotionally. Squeezing a wedding in between those itinerary was a bit too much to handle at that time.

I'm not trying to be such a bitch about this but I've watched far too many movies that end with a wedding. And that wedding was supposed to be THE happy ending? Well I don't know about that... I'm not in the position to even talk about wedding and marriage alright!

What really matters right now is my friend has been married to her husband for one year. She's happy. Maybe it is the happy ending for her movie.

Happy 1st Wedding Anniversary sweetie=)
And I'm sorry I missed your sister's wedding Mr. Warfff. I know you can't stay angry for too long=)

On Lily Allen and Playlist

Lily Allen happens to be one of the hottest search here at Fash-un-able. I believe people out there really missed her sharp and witty blog on Myspace which she had to shut down after being bombarded with too much of controversy.

But here's the latest news on Lily Allen. Apparently, she has been replaced as the face of Chanel's Coco Coccoon bags by Vanessa Paradis. Karl has obviously changed his mind about Lily Allen and a source told Daily mail that'He instructed his people not to invite her (to Chanel party in Cannes). He is very strict about who can represent the brand and there is a feeling that Lily is too much of a party girl.'

Karl was upset when Allen got very drunk at a party at his house last year and just like that she went from a muse to bemused.

So go on Lily! Sing your blues to the playlist of the week: Sex and The City 2 Soundtrack

The Climb Party

I was wearing sweater from Seed, jeans from Topman, clear specs from F21 and vintage clutch
Our accessories are from Paris except for my stacked rings from Diva

The Climb party organized by Martell celebrates the rising talent of Malaysia's entertainment scene. Will Quah, Martell VSOP Rising Personality of 2010 was there and he performed one of the cover versions that I've heard in Glee. Not too sure which one tho'. I missed it because I had to go throw up in the toilet...

Ohh! And Chelsia Ng, the actress sang Duffy's Mercy which was quite alright. She looked pretty neat too.

The thing is, we arrived kinda too early for the event. So I started to enjoy a little bit too much of the cocktails way too early. Heheh.

Overall it was a simple party. The atmosphere was great, pleasant group of people and nice goody bags. They even have seperate for men and women with complimentary accessories from Sze.

Left the memory stick of my camera in my other bag because I was trying to be all stylish and elegant with my vintage clutch that evening. So I had to resort to the shitty BB camera for photos.

But you people can always go HERE and HERE to see BETTER photos of the event.

Insert Title

Blue-eyed snake from Diva
Wearing Topman tee and jeans, Bonia shoes, vintage clutch

Was not trying to be all smart or tongue in cheek about the title. I'm just running out of idea. Afterall this is like my entry no. 400 or something.

Been looking forward for the weekend since Monday of last week. Watching TV and reading 'The Lovely Bones' at home was no longer fun after doing it for three days straight.

Attended a party on Friday, which I will write about later. I got home feeling all hammered but I was all smiles-inside out. Hahah!

We got a little lost on Saturday looking for a place to eat after the usual dose of retail therapy.

The truth is I kinda hate the idea of going shopping when I'm feeling down because I know I'll buy things that I don't need and willing to pay ridiculous amount of money for the most ridiculous crap that I'll only regret about later. It's not retail therapy when you do that! You're just being an emotional shopper who tries to trade your emotional baggage for some Fendi baguettes or whatever that you think is a good enough substitute for that.

I was not shopping for temporary emotional high for sure. 'Diva' was having a sale and I grabbed this very ethnic cobra necklace which I think is phenomenal. That and the long-awaited 'The Carrie Diaries' of course.

Looks like someone's going to be at home for the whole day trying to finish it...

Drop It Like It's Hot

Tee from H&M, pants and bag by Seed and rings from Paris

Cut my hair last week because I was bored and seriously sooo-sick of looking like a REAL educator with my old hairstyle. It was not intentional, I was just too lazy to keep on telling my hair-dresser what I want.

The drop-crotch pants are from last year. I've worn it maybe just a couple of times because it takes a lot of effort to match them with the right shirt, shoes and accessories. I'm always late. So always ended up in my black skinnies.

But for some reason I just grabbed the damn thing out of my closet yesterday and decided to have some fun with it. Team them up with my H&M tee and piled on the rings just so that the pants don't become the focal point of the outfit.

Gosh! What the hell am I doing!?

I think I've just described my outfit!

Work and Play

Necklace by Vincci, tee from Topman, jeans from Topman, bag from Seed and bracelet from H&M

I'm feeling sooo-uninspired right now. Can I just make a list of things that I did (way that I felt) last week?

Here goes:
  1. Watched Diary of A Wimpy Kid with a friend and friend of a friend. It was hillarious! I heard about the book from Shikin but never really bothered to check it out because I thought it's just one of those Garfield and Spongebob stuff that she's into. Yes, Shikin is NOT 12 years old.

  2. My article on Zachary Quinto was featured on this Russian website and it has received more comments that it did when it was first published on Emmagem. My friend asked me to get the Russians to pay but I said 'nothankyou'. It's a good exposure. So what the hell right?

  3. Finally done with The Lovely Bones. I waited almost a month to finish the book before I can finally watch the movie. It was disappointing tho'. They shortened the plot and changed it too much.

  4. There's a lot going on here at the office and as much as I hate to get caught in this whole office politics game, I am already in the middle of it. There's this lady who hates me sooo much, she refused me to invigilate her exam paper. Ha-ha! Don't care! Hate you thousand times moooooore!

  1. Shikin came back from Paris with a whole lot of accessories for me. Fabulous rings and scarf.
  2. Teaching local students is definitely easier compared to teaching those ***** idiots, but honestly I don't get the same amount of respect that I did from those foreigners. That and and also free Starbucks, expensive gifts and dinner treats=)

  3. I've been feeling tired lately and I've been late to work in the morning. See how 9-5 is not really my thing!

  4. I need to write more men's stuff for Emmagem and I need to send emails to recording companies for CDs pronto! I need new CDs for album review.

  5. There was this Biore Men's launch that I missed yesterday because I have to be at work...

  6. Search these three of the most OTT video of the month (or year?) on Youtube: Xtina's Not Myself Tonight, M.I.A's Born Free and B's Why Don't You Love Me? Make sure your mother is not watching.

Counting the days for SATC2=)

Last week in Topman neon green tee and jeans, Heritage F21 hoodie, Reebok backpack and trainers.

I'm feeling so fat lately. Well actually, I know for sure that I AM fat because my bathroom scale seems to agree with me. But getting thin is as much of a hard work as trying to get rid of a tattoo. It's all about the changing of attitude and rethinking of so many things that we have been so used to in our lives. Like a tattoo on the wrist that you look at everyday, that extra hours of sleep on weekends and the coconut cake at Delicious.

I love all my pants to be skinny and my shirts have always been either tight or small. But I kinda have extra fleshes hanging in places that I never expected them to be now. I guess to compromise on that, I have been wearing a lot of black lately. Although I know that 80s-style white tshirts with black and white graphic is all the rage right now.

I hate to talk about losing weight because I hate it when people do it on Facebook and Twitter. But I guess that is in a weird stupid way, their motivation to do it. If it works for them, then go ahead and purge it all up the Facebook wall.

I know for a fact that I can lose like 20 pounds in a week if I wanted to (although it's disgusting and very unhealthy mind you...). It's just that I feel like I don't care as much as I used to. It's always like, "My ass is huge? Alright I'll wear a long cardigan". Or "What! My stomach is hanging from above my jeans? OK. I'll wear this oversized Gap then"

But still there's nothing funny about being fat. I hate it. But the problem is I hate oatmeal and starving too...

ck Accessories Party

At the ck Accessories party in Calvin Klein tee and Topman cardie

The shoes and wallets

Photographer needs more practice.

Right before the Cleo Bachelor bash, I attended the ck Accessories party at their KLCC boutique. It was a very intimate affair with a few guests, quick fashion show and of course, great wine=)

I stayed long enough to snap some photos for Emmagem and had a few drinks before meeting my friend Zaki downstairs and change into my other party outfit.

The bags, shoes and wallets at the party were simply delicious. I feel like taking them all home with me. I want to make them all feel safe in my closet.

More on the party HERE

Cleo's 50 Most Eligible Bachelor Bash

The theme was military but I just found out the day before the event. So I have to make do with my army green Original Penguin poloshirt, Topman skinny jeans, khakis color Seed bag, Philosophy suspender and Bonia black ankle boots.

The winner Amir Millson and that gorgeous Cleo magazine Editor in Chief

Putting a ring on it=)

Shaky images I know! I'm still trying to get the hang of this new camera. Ha-ha!

I was offered priority passes to Cleo Bachelor Bash last Friday. I know it's been almost one week. I guess I was just too lazy to write and I also have been doing a lot of other crazy shit at this college. Nothing blogworthy tho'....

I think all of us know by now that the winner is Amir Millson. I think he pretty much embodies all the qualities needed for an eligible bachelor, which lately it seems like being a Eurasian is one of them. He's alright tho'. Friendly and has this great smile.

Hats off to the boys who danced to Wondergirls and Beyonce; and took off their pants and shirt for the ladies that night.
Can't wait for next year.
