Quarter Homme X Bremen Wong

With one of the models Armin before the show started

Yours truly in F21 jacket, Seed pants, brown wing-tipped and Zara tee with all the fabs- Wilson, Frank, Zheng Hao and Nadia

Oh gosh! I would be so grateful even if I can get this one entry done. Sooo many entries pending! If I were KinkyBlueFairy, I'm already at the risk of losing my clients by now. Ha-ha! Thank god there's no such thing as client for Fash-un-able for now. I just have friends who support each other like illustrator/milliner/designer Bremen Wong.

I was at Quarter Homme Underwear show not too long ago. Yes it was an underwear show but Quarter Homme collaborated with Bremen and the result was a breathtaking show with all the male models walking down the runway in sexy Quarter Homme underwear and Bremen's avant-garde head pieces.

Joanne Kam!

I did a little bit of research before attending the show that evening and found out that Bremen Wong has even been featured on Vogue Italia website as well as countless other international magazines. So I was like,"Way to go Bremen!" upon meeting him after the show!

No words can describe. So readers, feast your eyes with all the stunning photos that I snapped throughout the show. From the front row of course, thanks to Cavin from Men's Health ;) I was bitching about the models to him and Wilson who also sat right next to me throughout the show. Ha-ha! Blame it on the red wine! Jealousy is an ugly thing too ya know!

Shout out to Zheng Hao, Lee Kah Fai of Quarter Homme, Nadia of SAKU and my fave comedienne Joanna Kam.

Gosh! Is it too late for a Halloween entry? I didn't dress up this year but I did get a special effect make-up done by the students of APT. I always wanted to get this gory, bloody gun wound on my forehead. The best part was I got it done for free.

Thanks again for the make-up all of you fabulous people at APT Academy! More photos after the jump

What other way to celebrate Halloween than to have a proper dinner with my fellow zombies! Ha- ha!

AMAZE Model Search 2011

Model search is the current trend in our local fashion scene. It's all about finding the next Amber Chia and Wilson Tan. It's all good until we suddenly have the same type of competition held one after another. Not that I'm complaining because these model search events are always fun to watch and being attended by some of the most beautiful people of our local scene.

The finale of AMAZE Model Search 2011 took place at Publika, Solaris Dutamas. I was surprised that it was actually an open space instead of the usual event venue of inside of a club or shopping mall.

My invite came through Wilson Tan who was one of the VVIP that night. He arrived in a Porche which turned me green with envy. Not red but green.

I actually arrived there around 7pm and was asked to seat on a naked plastic chair among some uncles and aunties which I'm sure were there to support their sons and daughters in the competition. I was even denied for a glass of red-wine.

After a few minutes of contemplating about taking a RM20 cab-ride home, I saw my friend Arico. He got me an upgrade to a better seat, right behind the judges with satin covered seat, red-wine and all. So I decided to stay.

Well enough about me!

There were altogether 22 contestants who took part in the competition for both male and female category. After a series of Q&A and sashaying the catwalk in casual wear as well as evening wear, Sheena Liam and Kenzo Tan was announced the winner of the competition. One of our friends David Lian took home the Best Body title which all of us were very excited about.

These are the photos that I managed to snap from my seat. Yeah I know I need a better camera... or a good cameraman.

7atenine Revisited 5th Anniversary

Wearing Seed jacket, Topman jeans and Zara black tee

Xandria Ooi in Herve Leger

Zura, Farah (PR for CapSquare) and her fiance. They said hi and I ended up at their table and exchanging phone numbers

Have you been to 7atenine at The Ascott? I was there once for an ice-cream event or something which you can read more about HERE. It was quite forgettable because there wasn't much going on but I still remember how the ice-cream was spiked and I couldn't walk in a straight line home! Ha-ha!

So I was invited for their Revisited Party several weeks back. I went there alone but ended up making new friends and connections there. Aside from the usual champagne and wine, I also took several bites of the food that they served that evening. They were good!

My fellow party-goer; Steven of Dailychilli

Well there's always food served at all these parties and launch events but people don't always eat that much. Yours truly is not one of them. Whenever there's food served, I always make it a point to try all of them. But not too much because my jeans are skinny and my jackets are tight. I remember the Ducati event when I wore this white button-front tucked into my black jeans. With all the delish food on the buffet table, I really had to hold myself back at the risk of popping my shirt buttons.

Btw, 7atenine’s anniversary celebrations began a few weeks before, with a Man Auction where 11 men were auctioned off in aid of the Soroptimist International Club of Ampang. The ladies-only high-tea event raised RM70,000 for the cause.

Congrats to 7atenine on their 5th Anniversary!

Sentidos Tapas Relaunch

Wearing Cotton On tee, Uniqlo chambray jacket, Topman jeans and neon clutch

Taking a break from fashion launch and event, I attended the reopening of Sentidos Gastrobar & Restaurant at Starhill Gallery. Famous for their Paella and 'killer' sangria, the restaurant has been around for quite sometimes serving Spanish cuisine in Feast Village, Starhill Gallery.

No proper food was served at the relaunch event but my friend and I did get a little bit tipsy towards the end of the event thanks to the free-flow of champagne and wine. It was a simple event and I was wearing my new boots from Peacocks London, so I was happy.

No food review until I taste the actual food but in the mean time you can read more about Sentidos HERE
