Playlist Nov 2012

Been listening to a lot of cool stuff lately. I was searching high and low for songs that I heard in movies like Superbad (it turned out to be Notorious B.I.G's Big Poppa) and Magic Mike (Ginuwine's Pony). There are also acts that I used to listen to a lot in the past but for whatever reason I just grew tired of them ie: Tokyo Police Club, Colourmusic and Paloma Faith. Bat For Lashes and Christina Aguilera both have new albums out (The Haunting Man and Lotus). Bat For Lashes' album is fab just like her previous ones but I was quite nervous for Xtina because her last effort was such a huge letdown. I'm listening to Lotus as I'm writing this entry. Currently at track No.8 (Blank Page) and I have to tell you that I love it so far.

Here's my choice of songs to get you through the day during this rainy season. Enjoy!

1. Laura- Bat For Lashes
2. You For Leaving Me- Colourmusic
3. Walk The Night- The Phenomenal Handclap Band feat. Peaches
4. Bel Air- Lana del Rey
5. Lotus- Christina Aguilera
6. Diamonds- Rihanna
7. Bambi- Tokyo Police Club
8. Too Close- Alex Clare
9. Some Nights- Fun.
10. I Will Wait- Mumford and Sons Read more!

Forever 21's Camouflage

Last week my friend Nadia from KK was here in KL for one week. So we decided to brave the heavy rain and arranged for a Chatime session at Pavilion. I was the first to arrive. While waiting for the girls (The two Nadias. Yeah I know it's crazy how both of them are best-friends and have the same name!) I ended up walking towards Forever 21. I don't know! I thought I heard them calling my name or something!

So I bought a jacket. Camouflage. Crazy discount! The girls finally arrived and we decided to snap photos of three of us wearing my new jacket. Next time we're gonna do the same when any one of the girls  bought a new bra. Ha-ha~!

I Love 360 Celsius Magazine!

People at 360 Celsius have always been very nice and supportive especially the CEO Mr. Farbod, my dear friend Joanna Chee who is also one of the partners and Sofia who's doing the marketing for the brand. It's always fun to go to their events especially the weekend pool parties. It used to be held at The Pool KL but all the excitements have shifted to a brand new venue now that they have their very own 360 Celsius Fashion Lounge at Best Western.

Here are just some snapshots of all 360 Celsius parties that I have gone to so far.

There will be more to come folks! Cheers to 360 Celsius!

Stuff Magazine 8th Anniversary

Stuff magazine 8th Anniversary took place at The Stage, Avenue K a few months back. I was there of course. Thanks to Angeline who invited me.

It's was a great night for all of us. I got to know a lot of new friends which I will definitely bumped into again in the future but totally forgot their names and where we met. Ha-ha!

Zack is good friend he models for magazine like Esquire and underwear line Quarter Homme. He also works for an event management company.

Julian was so-not trying to kiss me! He just wanted his jaw to appear stronger in this photo.

As for Stuff magazine, they are very well known for having big lucky draw with great prizes (like gadgets and iPads) at their events. Unfortunately none of us won any tablet PC that night. Well I guess even if our names were being called on stage, we would've missed it because we were just too busy having fun and dancing like we owned the night. Ha-ha!

Pierre Ledent at Jason's Hall BSC

Let's get some entries up today. I'm at work and it's raining outside. I just read bryanboy.com and bumped into Joyce of kinkybluefairy.net last night at Kardashian Kollection for Dorothy Perkins launch. I suddenly felt a little out of touch with this blog lately. I seriously need to catch up.

Now let's start with this one. These are photos taken at the launch of Pierre Ledent at Jason's Hall BSC. My friend Puteri is one of the business partners of this Belgian chocolate here in Malaysia, so she invited yours truly to try out all their chocolates and macaroons. She knew for a fact that I will never say NO to macaroon. That and also the bubbly liquid that we sip from tall glasses. Ha-ha!

Yes please...

If you happened to be at BSC, don't forget to go and check out Pierre Ledent stall at Jason's Hall for a little taste of premiere high-quality Belgian chocolates.
